Schola

The Schola of St. Richard’s is the principal vocal ensemble of St. Richard’s Episcopal Church. Under the direction of Dr. Carl MaultsBy, the Schola (a group of singers that specialize in liturgical music) is comprised of adult volunteers who from September through Trinity Sunday sing the Sunday 10:30 a.m. service, special services, community and Diocesan events. The repertoire of the Schola includes plainsong, traditional, and contemporary sacred anthems, Anglican chant, and sacred Jazz. During its performance season, the Schola rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
