Schola

The Schola of St. Richard’s is the principal vocal ensemble of St. Richard’s Episcopal Church. Under the direction of Dr. Carl MaultsBy, the Schola (a group of singers that specialize in liturgical music) is comprised of adult volunteers who from September thru Trinity Sunday sing the Sunday 10:30 a.m. service, special services, community and Diocesan events. The repertoire of the Schola includes plainsong, traditional and contemporary sacred anthems, Anglican chant and sacred Jazz. During its performance season, the Schola rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:15 PM - 8:45 PM.

Youth Ensemble

The St. Richard’s Youth Ensemble (SRYE) is open to youth singers 9-18. SRYE sings frequently from September thru Trinity Sunday during the 10:30 AM services. Rehearsals are most Sundays during the performance season from 12:15 PM- 1 PM.

Handbell Ringers

The St. Richard’s Handbell Ringers is open to all and plays frequently from September thru Trinity Sunday during the 10:30 AM services. Rehearsals are Mondays from 7 PM – 8 PM. Shannon O’Neal is the Director.
