Christian Sharing Center of Longwood
An non-profit organization that provides essential resources to those in need while ensuring dignity. St. Richards supports the Sharing Center through volunteer work. www.thesharingcenter.org
 
St. Margaret's Guild
This organization is designed to unite women in a program of worship, service and fellowship. The Guild focuses on calling on newcomers and the sick, and to provide services in time of illness or other needs. The Guild also assists in preparing for church fellowships times. Women’s group providing outreach and ministry to the sick and needy. Meets the 3rd Monday for business and refreshments.
 
Good Shepherd Food Bank
Ongoing gathering of canned goods for Good Shepherd Church Food Bank, soup kitchen volunteering &  other ministry to the homeless, Family Promise of Orlando Host Church, Ministry to Tanzania, and seasonal ingathering's for thanksgiving, Christmas, school supplies & backpacks.

Dogs out in the community that have chosen a cause they would like to represent by sending out letters to people that would like to have the encouragement, understanding, and love of a dog. Greyhound Pets of America Greater Orlando
This is a non profit organization whose purpose is to find homes for ex-racing Greyhounds and to educate the public on the suitability and availability of Greyhounds as pets. Their Kennel houses about 35 Greyhounds awaiting their forever, loving homes. Their goal is to find a home for every retired racing Greyhound that needs one, and they never turn away a Greyhound due to injury, illness, or old age. St. Richards supports GPAGO through the first time 2019 Wish List Drive.
 
Greyhound Pets of America Greater Orlando
Wish list drive July 6th - July 31st. A bin for items will be located in the Parish Hall and at the Red Booth before and after Sunday 10:30am services. Flyer Wish List

May 5- May 12: Family Promise Host Week

September 25: Grace and Grits—Volunteers needed to prepare pork tenderloin, and rice at St. Richard’s at 12 noon on Wednesday. More volunteers needed to plate and serve salad, pork, rice, beans and desert at First United Methodist Church of Sanford at 5:00 p.m.

October 12: The Most Colorful Parade—Gay Pride Parade Participation

As part of Orlando's Come Out with Pride Week. St Richard's will be walking in the Parade again this year.  Our goal is to double last year's participation. Please start talking with your friends and family, they don't have to be affiliated with St Richard's to participate. Sign up begins in early September.
