Richard's Episcopal Preschool! We are very
pleased to have you become a part of our Christian

and stimulating environment for your children to
grow emotionally, socially, physically and
cognitively.
The school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
St. Richard's Episcopal Preschool has an excellent
teacher-child ratio. We pride ourselves
as servants of the community and it's children.
Our
teachers have excellent early childhood credentials
and are continuously higher their education to serve
your children.
Our
History
St. Richard's
Episcopal Preschool and Morning Out for Moms has
been serving the Winter Park community since 1959.
The need for educational facilities was considered a
priority and very soon plans were drawn for a
classroom building. In September, 1959 construction
began to
provide space not only for Sunday School, but also
for a parish kindergarten known as St. Richard's
Academy. This was later changed to Bishop John D.
Wing Academy to honor a former Bishop of South
Florida. Today we know it as, St. Richard's
Episcopal Preschool and Morning Out for Moms.
Our Philosophy
Our hands-on
integrated curriculum provides developmentally
appropriate learning experiences that meet the
individual needs of each child. By
understanding the value of play, our program
encourages curiosity so that children become
lifelong learners.
St. Richard's welcomes and
includes children from all races colors, national and ethnic
origins and religions.
