Search Process for New Rector

The search for a new rector is a detailed, long process. As our parish enter this time, we will update this page to keep you informed on where we are in the process and the latest news. If you have any questions about the search, please see Michael Dey (Senior Warden) or Stephen O'Connell (Junior Warden). The Priest-in-Charge, the Rev. Truscott, is not involved in this process at all, so please see Michael or Stephen. Please keep our parish in your prayers as we go through this process and pray that the right person will be led to become our next rector.

Next step: The Search Committee meets.

June 18, 2026: The Transition Officer chosen is the Rev. Canon Ellis Brust. The Search Committee has chosen Lisa Grant as the chairperson. If you have any questions about the search, please email Lisa Grant at lisajoybgrant@gmail.com.

June 3, 2026: Meeting among the Vestry, the Search Committee, and the Transition Officer from the Diocese of Central Florida.

May 2026: Search Committee is established with the following members: James Cooper, Mazrine Duncan, Lindsay Elliott, Carmen Graham, Lisa Grant, Irv Lipscomb, Susan McConnell, Cydney Ogilvie, Bob Cochrane (Vestry representative) and Deb Sponsler (Vestry representative).

March 2026: The Rev. Dr. Dale Truscott is named Interim Priest-in-Charge.
