Information for the Sunday, 5 p.m., services:
- First Sunday of the Month: Evening Prayer
- Second Sunday of the Month: Contemplative Eucharist in the Celtic Tradition, the Rev. Dr. Dale Truscott
- Third Sunday of the Month: Evening Prayer
- Fourth Sunday of the Month: Taizé, the Rev. Dr. Harry Coverston
- Fifth Sunday of the Month: Evening Prayer led by the laity
The contemplative Taizé service is held with chants and prayers around the cross. On the first, third and occasional fifth Sunday of each month, our parishioners gather for Evening Prayer. This is a lay-led service of readings and prayers. These services are intimate, quiet, offering peaceful worship at the end of long weeks and the beginning of the next. Everyone is invited to attend.
Our Worship Style
We have two services on Sunday, 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The 8 a.m. service is
Rite I said service and the 10:30 a.m. service is Rite II with hymns. On feast days such as Christmas and Easter, the service is sung. We use incense on feast days as well. The 10:30 a.m. service is live-streamed on YouTube, where you can see all of our services. Click here for our YouTube channelhttps://www.youtube.com/@StRichardsEpiscopalChurch/
