Introduction and Prayer
St. Richard’s is an open and affirming parish with a unique mission in the Diocese of Central Florida. We value every person’s dignity, regardless of color, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or socioeconomic position. At St. Richard’s, we believe everyone is a child of God -- we see you and we honor you.
Lord God, you are the God that makes all things new and restores life from ashes. We ask your guidance as we search for our next rector. We pray that the Holy Spirit guides that person to St. Richard’s to lead us as continue our ministry and work in Central Florida. May the Holy Spirit guide our next rector to love and care for our congregation, lead others to St. Richard’s, and guide us as we enter the next chapter of our parish life together. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
