Worship at St. Richard's

Worship with Us

Worship at St. Richard's uses the Book of Common Prayer 1979 of The Episcopal Church. An online BCP can be found at https://www.bcponline.org/

Our readings come from the Revised Common Lectionary A calendar of the readings for each week and can be found at http://www.lectionarypage.net/

Sundays 8 a.m. is Rite I said service. Sundays at 10:30 a.m. is Rite II with hymns generally from the Hymnal 1982 of The Episcopal Church. On feast days such as Christmas and Easter, the service is sung. We use incense on feast days as well.

Our clergy team includes the rector, assisting priests, and generous retired priests who are part of the regular preaching rotation. We are grateful to have a volunteer vocational deacon as well. The preaching at St. Richard's is rich and diverse.

There are many ways to service in worship. Please see a listing on the right of this page. We continue to have a volunteer flower guild who prepare our flowers each week and are also available for weddings and funerals.
